This includes storing and managing the inventory of evidence and exhibits.

Trey Hightower began working for the Jefferson County Clerk’s Office in November 2024. His duties include managing court sessions, processing civil and criminal cases, overseeing jury management, and maintaining court records and evidence. The Clerk also serves as recorder of deeds, Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, and accountant and custodian of county funds.
